Obama honors MATHCOUNTS Champions

When it comes to students receiving accolades, we often first think of athletes. But on July 20, math students had their turn in the spotlight. In the Oval Office, President Barack Obama congratulated the top finishers for the 2009 Raytheon MATHCOUNTS National Competition. Student Attitudes About STEM

So, what do today's students think about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)? Do they feel prepared to succeed in these fields?
